Design and technology is an inspiring, rigorous and practical subject. Using creativity and imagination, at Temple Ewell, pupils are given opportunities to design and make products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts. We aim to ensure that pupils acquire a broad range of subject knowledge and draw on other subject areas such as mathematics, science, engineering, computing and art. We teach our pupils how to take risks, becoming resourceful, innovative, enterprising and capable citizens. Many of the skills and knowledge taught contribute to and enrich other areas of the curriculum.
